I was at my local Costco (Torrance, Ca) and came across these Goal Zero Nomad 7M Sherpa Portable Solar Power units... comes with a bunch of accessories- they are only $99 bucks. I bought one. Curious, I looked these up on Costco's website and they show $139.00. Couldn't find them cheaper on Amazon either. Here is the link to Costco. Remember, I got mine for $99 locally. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...=3&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1

P.S. The local Costco also had the Steripen Traveler for $49.00. Not bad either.

I have been reading up on solar power. Stay away from anything built in China. They fall apart fast!!

Goal Zero has some really nice stuff. Thanks for sharing the info. But i'm going to look for something more powerful than 7 watts.

Also how many watts produces how much power?

How is it stored? Etc...

I'm very interested in something like this.

Thanks all.
