Part of the plan, didnt destroy enough businesses thoroughly enough with the 1st lockdown, some shut down and never came back, others just briefly obstructed.

Don't worry though, for all the businesses that disappeared amazon will magically come up with new locals to replace them.
Only way to get a large swath of Americans to force them on the teat. To twist an old adage, If you choose Liberty you choose death.

The fact that the data is so over the board, and in many cases is cited by uninformed people spouting opinion, brings no security to the table. Then when the same thing happens but within medical circles, it's downright disturbing. And add the fact that politicians use it as a weapon against citizens, that's why people get mad and enraged.

Today has been a sheet-storm of confusing statements, including the claim that the entire state of Ohio will be shut down. Please, I know some people are sick, but show me the evidence we need to shut down business and industry when none of the employees are even mildly ill.
I'm also in Ohio but I didn't hear about this, and I can't seem to find any info.

The first point was enough for me. No long-term side effects have been detected. Sherlock, meet Captain Obvious.

Point One: How can long term side effects be detected in the short term?

I realize my research doctorate in NURSING doesn’t mean squat to these doctors playing God, but I’m not stupid. I know how easy it is to twist the words and skew data and tweak definitions to fit my end game. I spent a lot of my life learning how to evaluate research and have a pretty good eye for catching when things just don’t add up - and 1+1 no longer equals 2 here.

Second point: no other “non-live” vaccines were of an mRNA foundation and generated to trick your body into making spike proteins either.

Third point: if the vaccine leaves the body in 72 hours, how can the body make antibodies to it. Also, when it leaves the body, where does it go? Is this what the conspiracy theorists call shedding? Is that what’s infecting people? Now, I realize I’m playing semantics here, but come on.

Fourth point: at what point do we stop saying RARE? what’s the magic number that finally makes the lightbulb appear and people say enough is enough. Is it 10,000 young people who end up with myocarditis? 10,000 who end up with neurological deficits that don’t seem to improve over time? How many “spontaneous abortions” do women have to suffer?

And I’d like to tie a specific part of my fourth point back to the first point… what happens when these kids who suffered myocarditis in 2020-21 become adults with heart failure? Are we going to say that heart failure is completely unrelated to that bout of myocarditis they had 40 years prior?

It just plain makes me sick to my stomach to think about effects these plays on words and tweaking of definitions are going to have on public health.

I trust a used car salesman over this most trusted profession called healthcare… and I’m part of that profession. Frankly, I’m a bit embarrassed to even admit it anymore - and that deeply saddens me.

It doesn't necessarily have to be directed at you to create a hostile work environment. For example: An obese woman works in an office and often overhears coworkers telling fat jokes. She may have a legitimate hostile work environment complaint.

Choosing not to take the jab, and often hearing coworkers ridicule "anti-vaxers", could be considered a hostile work environment, even if they don't directly confront you, and should be reported to HR.

Good point. Overall the people I work with are good people, they really are. But, this whole Covid Vaccine thing has polarized them so much that I can't find words to describe it. Why this occurred I have no idea. I still think many of them have been reconditioned by what I call the Facebook affect. On FB you can jump into a thread and insult people and at most you will be blocked..etc... Since most of these folks spend so much time on FB I think this mode of thinking has crept into their way of acting. As a result, they think that in real life you can just bully, insult etc.. people with no real consequences. Fact is, no one can punch you in the mouth on FB but they sure can in real life. I don't know where I heard the saying "be nice to me and I will be nice to you", but I think that mode of operation it works well for me.

Of course not a single line of that was true. They didn't even finish Phase 3 let alone publish 3 or 5 year long term studies. They got their authorization before they had even finished administering the vaccines for phase 3. Completion of phase 3 was 2 years away and they canceled it after 6 months by dosing the control group.

Before any successful genocide in history, the first thing you need to do is divide, polarize and separate the target group.
Then people in that group need to be dehumanized (otherwise, people are reluctant to annihilate fellow citizens) and blamed for something evil.
And then, you will fix that supposed evil by eliminating those who are seemingly creating that assumed evil.
It's simple, and it's working every time. Europe and USSR in the 40s, Balkans, and Rwanda in 90s, and now probably on the global scale.

You and I (and anyone who can objectively read) know this. The average Joe who might still be on the fence likely doesn’t. Just another “scare tactic” used to force people into compliance. I don’t believe the people that have strong convictions about not getting it will be swayed.

I questioned a fellow nurse as to why she was sharing the post without any evidence to support their claims and got some BS reply that if I wanted clarification, I should ask the ADPH for clarification and that she believes in civil debate but to not post negative crap on her page just to pick a fight, which I wasn’t trying to do anyways. I just wanted her to do some critical thinking and look for evidence to support those claims if she’s going to put that out there to try to persuade people to get the jab. It’s her job as a nurse to educate patients, not share BS information that’s easily refutable.

Sure, I could have been nice and messaged her privately, but the false post would still be there, without any supporting evidence, and now my keyboard warrior skills are out there on full display ::evil laugh::

Best part was when another intolerant fool attacked me on the post saying I had no right to come at a healthcare worker saying such horrible things because I don’t know what she’s witnessed. If she hadn’t blocked me (or maybe she felt like a fool after my sister privately let her know I was highly qualified to speak on such matters), I would have gladly shared my credentials with her.

On a completely different conversation…

A colleague of mine, who teaches in the science department, has a PhD, and is an expert entomologist, shared his views about the shots. I posed my question like this: “mRNA, viral vector, or no shot at all?” Then I clarified that I was personally not getting it but was curious his thoughts. His recommendation is wait it out as long as you can - which, for now, is an eternity because our governor signed a law that educational institutions in the state cannot require the jab unless it was required prior to Jan 1, 2021, nor can they force someone to provide proof of vax status if that person chooses not to.

Anyways, back to his recommendation - Novavax. Definitely one that’s not been on my radar, but there seems to be some good data about it out there. It’s a subunit protein vax made using moth cells (the protein) and tree bark (the adjuvant). It also doesn’t have PEG in the ingredient list. It includes the spike protein in the vax instead of telling the body to manufacture it. No genetic material and it is quite similar to a protein-based flu vaccine (all according to Nebraska Medicine).

Their filing for EUA has been delayed multiple times for manufacturing checks, but is expected Q4 2021. Some suggest it might be best used as a booster, but I assume that’s because of the other widely available vaxxes being first to the finish line. Personally, I like that they took their time and produced some solid data to support their product. It still doesn’t make me want the thing. Still 2 jabs. People still touting the need for boosters with it as well. Same ole song and dance. Something I do find funny is how quickly “experts” point out the lack of evidence of side effects and overall safety profile of the drug. Imagine if more “experts” had done the same for these others…

I have to read the link but, moth cells and tree bark?!?
Moth cells: “scientists were able to create the vaccine by injecting moth cells with the spike protein gene, that is also present in the coronavirus. Scientists are injecting the protein gene within a Baculovirus, which targets insects. The moth cells will then get to work producing more spike proteins.”

Tree bark: “The inner bark of the Chilean soapbark tree, Quillaja saponaria, is the source material for some of these saponins. Pulverized and soaked in water at the Desert King factory in Chile, the bark is transformed into a brown, bitter, bubbly fluid. This precious goo does many things well, and it happens to be the raw material for one of the world’s most coveted vaccine adjuvants: QS-21. Adjuvants are compounds that boost the body’s immune reaction to a vaccine. Owing to their potential risks to human health, however, only a handful of adjuvants have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and QS-21 is one of the newest.”

Interesting stuff!

I’m under the impression that the spike protein is the dangerous part of the virus. Also under the impression that the variants have differences in their spike proteins, and that a vaccine that produces one spike protein would be ineffective against variant spike proteins. I’m not convinced that producing spike proteins is better than simply preventing the virus from entering the cells.

Between the infinite lockdowns and the lack of leadership during last year's riots, I gave up on Ohio and moved to the free nation of Texas. Buckeyes just fell in line with everything. I was onboard for 2 weeks to slow the spread. Then I dealt with kids stuck at home for 2 months with school closures. What really pissed me off was seeing the parade of buses and teachers driving around congratulating the graduates. I haven't seen my parents in over a year, and doubt I will again. Think getting china virus and dying alone is bad, imagine living the rest of your life knowing that folks are afraid to be around other folks.

At some point I woke up to the real numbers and personal risk, and made my own life decisions, including going rural. Not to avoid the china virus disease, just to avoid the disease of stupidity that was around me. Good luck convincing anyone to change their mind, the numbers published today are likely scrubbed and fed through the ministry of propaganda before release.

Previous generations this would have been a call to arms. We went into Afghanistan with little knowledge that our enemy was truly hiding there. We have tons of knowledge this came from China, they knew it was spreading yet allowed flights international, and all we can do is worry and fight over masks and stoopid shots. At least 9/12 we were united against the enemy, now we're making each other the enemy instead of focusing on the real problem.

Don't laugh. There is massively clear evidence that the natural remedies will work.

The irony is that 99.9995% of all the drugs made have natural origins. They simply derive a chemical from it that works, synthesize it and voila.. Viagra!
This is very true and I have said the same thing. I will qualify it by saying there is no way they all work or are safe. RNA and DNA seem like it is going to another level.

I also will say I have no idea who or what Groot is.

So to change gears a little, does anyone have a decent, simple link for stats based on age group? I’m specifically interested in #diagnosed vs #hospitalized vs #deaths.
I remember seeing something that indicated a fairly low percentage of deaths even in the older age ranges. I’m getting the full court press from the family, making it sound like I’m under an automatic death sentence if I don’t get vaxxed.
Frankly, I’m getting tired of it.
I haven't had time to check but you can check Sharyl Attkisson's site. She is keeping a running list on all vaccine concerns.
