I bought 1 in the 60's I believe. They're recyclable you know. Just turn 'em inside out and shake the ***k out of 'em. These days I'm more into the Viagra. Now if I could only figure out what to do with the other 3 hours and 58 minutes

My religious beliefs preclude me from using them (no birth control) but I still like to buy them. find the checkout lane with the hot chick. You know she's thinking I'm getting some. It's an awesome feeling. Maybe she'd like to get some too. Know what I'm saying? :thumb:
Funny your religious views don't preclude you from fornicating with the checkout girl out of wedlock! I want in to that one, wheres the punch!:D:

I dont know which is funnier that there are some on here that think there is an alternate use for these things or that they will actualy get to use them in a SHTF.

,,,,,,,.buying condoms to somehow getting a "hot" check out gal's attention.

That's gotta be the most obtuse pick up technique on earth. Get a grip, and no, (not on that) condom boy.

That's like getting drunk and trolling an AA meetings for chicks.

Do any of you pack condoms in your BOB? Are there any practical uses for condoms in a survival situation, like water collection or something?

I enjoy buying condoms and would like to find a use for them. My religious beliefs preclude me from using them (no birth control) but I still like to buy them. Go to walmart or the drug store, get some, find the checkout lane with the hot chick. You know she's thinking I'm getting some. It's an awesome feeling. Maybe she'd like to get some too. Know what I'm saying? :thumb:
My team uses them over the barrels of our rifles in crappy weather...trick taught by British and US Special Operations guys.

Military Use

Back when... the Air Force put plain condoms in pilot survival kits. They are used for a water bag. It is recommended to put it in a sock or something before filling.

Nowdays water bags are common and are a lot tougher than a condom. Unless you're putting together a mini-survival kit a condom isn't much use.
