Okay, so I'm looking at getting another shotgun and have narrowed my choice down to a Stoeger coach gun or a Condor. I will just be using it for general woods running and occasionally when deer hunting. Has anyone here had experience with both of these models, and if so what would you recommend?

The Condor seems to be easier to carry but everyone I have talked to have only used the coach gun models. As far as use I don't expect any real difference in shooting them but the details, such as balance and weight are what can make a big difference.

Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong here...

I was also neck and neck with which to get the Stoeger Coach or the Condor. What made my decission for me is the Condor is single trigger whie the Coach comes in 2 trigger versions. I won't own an SxS or O&U that has a single trigger. It gives up IMO much of the advantage of a double barrel shotgun.

Own an Outback, have fired a coachgun quite a bit. Love both. If I were to buy one or the other now, though, I'd go another Outback....maybe Condor long barrel. Just have too many short SXS's and those will always be the most common. Logic says if you want an OU, now's the time to get it.

Didn't help much, I reckon. Sorry.

Peace.

Stoeger makes the coach guns in double and single triggers. I'm wanting one of the nickle "fancy" wood versions. I looked over a blued double trigger one at Bass Pro last weekend, I really liked it.
