My son-in-law has some hog dogs and will from time to time go down to the Angelina River close to Jasper Texas to catch some hogs.

On November 24, the dogs chased the hog far away from the boat, I was called in to help. First we had to pick up one of the hunters, bring him around to the boat, then drive around somewhere close to where the hog was at.

We met up with the other hunters, used a GPS to find our way back to the hog, tied its legs, then used a stick to pack the hog to the boat.

Are you just trying to keep the meat fresh until you can get him out to clean? Just wondering why you don't put him down?

The hog was going to be used for breeding.

And, wild hogs have strong taste to them.

Breed them if you want, cut their nuts, feed a grain diet for a few weeks, then butcher.
