Watched a video a few months ago where the man made a filter with sand and gravel ,. Looked in search and can't locate . I would appreciate some help. Thanks WD

I just made a water filter using sand and natural wood charcoal (no chemicals) and two 5 gal buckets. It is Awesome! I assume a pvc pipe would make a nice filter too. You would need to have a fabric over one end and than layer sand and charcoal repeatedly a few times with fabric on the other end. The best fabric to use is hemp because it has a natural anti-fungi benefit. I hope this helps and sorry if it doesn't.

Thank you! it was the last one. I will use charcoal also. We are building a backup to our purchased filters . Finally getting to the stage of 3 is 2 is 1 Lol appreciate all the replies. Keep safe and your ear to the ground. WD
