I've seen recipes and procedures for canning the sauce both with and without meat but what about canning it with the pasta in it too? Like the old Franco-American crap we were fed as kids only much better.

Since spagetti taste so much better after it's sat in the fridge a day or two would it be OK to can it after it's "aged" as such?

With meat sauce you have to use a pressure canner, and I'm assuming the addition of noodles would require the pressure canner whether you have meat in it, or not. I think the process of pressure canning would make the noodles very soft. I store the noodles separately.

Canning it with the pasta is a big space waster. Plus the pasta turns to mush. The factory canned pastas use a specially made pasta that can withstand the canning process. Easier to just can sauce. It's simple enough to boil pasta to pour it over.
