Does anyone know where I could get some racks to store and rotate canned goods? I'm thinking of the kind that you put the new cans in the top and the older ones rotate out the bottom?
There's a new thread here today where a fellow built his own. It's an excellent thread; he shows detailed pictures and gives specific questions on what he used and how he did it.
I am right now building a system not unlike the behind the couch one.
Space is a bit of a premium (not too bad, but still...) in my place so I try to make lots of dead space become useful where ever I can. I also like that sort of stuff for the built in OPSEC it generates.
I like this one, too. It looks to have a higher space utilization than the shelfReliance unit and it can be built into most any piece of cabinet. :thumb:
I have a Shelf Reliance unit and really like it. It probably would have cost me more in materials to make one. I also really like that it is easy to adjust the can sizes when my needs change.
My other thought with these is that the basic frame could easily be adapted to normal shelves if required - and if SHTF I won't be able to buy more cans, so if I can't adapt it it will stay empty.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
