The other day I was thinking of Canada and guns. And then the questin popped in my head. What rifle rounds are assotiated with Canada? Because calibers like 30-06, 30-30, 45-70, and .308 are assotiated with the U.S., and Russia is assotiated with 7.62, and Germany with the 8mm. But I just cant put my finger on a caliber that is desticly Canadan or really popular there.

Can't really think of any distinctly Canadian calibers, .303 British is probably used more in Canada than in Britain though. I would say that is one of the top rounds used in Canada.

.280 Ross is a Canadian cartridge, but I don't think it is used much outside a few collectors.

I thought you Canadians spelled it "calibre":)

I think of Canada militarily as having usually fought with British weapons, like Lee Enfield & Webley, so I'd say 303, .455, & .380

All the British Commonwealth calibers as stated above and the NATO calibers as well.
Also anything you can get here, maybe not .50BMG.
