Caching Clothes. I am new to Survivalism and the forum. How do I cache clothes? Any good clothes to cache?

Depends on where you are climate-wise. Not a bad idea though. I guess you could vacuum-pack them to keep them at a BOL. If you want to stow them in the outdoors I guess I'd go with the same idea that's been posted for caching just about everything else suggested. Big PVC pipe with end caps and plenty of thread tape and PVC glue. Seal it up beyond any shadow of a doubt and get to diggin'. Two things to remember:1) make sure you mark where you hid it and 2) don't lose whatever form you have now...it'd suck to dig up a cache of clothes that don't fit anymore!!

In my preps I figure that in a situation where I recover a cache with clothes in it I'm going to be living a more calorie deficient life than I'm used to. Weight loss will be a factor when you might be living more like a wild animal.

I figure a sewing kit and some suspenders (in addtion to the usual belt) will help make things fit better.

I would definitely keep around extra pairs of shoes and glasses if you wear them. Notice how shoes were hard to come by in the great depression.

Under wear and socks should be high on the priority list, IMHO.
