For all you survivalists/preppers out there that prefer a LBV/LBE set up and have a butt pack, what do you keep in there?
I myself have it set up to be a mini BOB of sorts. Its an exact clone my EDC bag so that in the event that i get out my fighting load, i will never be without standard gear...hopefully. It also allows me to ''dump" my ruck without worries.
My actual EDC bag (ModGear deployment bag) then becomes affixed to my BOB or for quick access to essentials and handouts. Some ask why carry the extra weight, Its mainly so that I’ll always have new working gear in my BP and so I do not have to worry about resupply of my line3. It’s literally grab and go.
I know some that use is as an extension of their BOB/ruck. Obviously, the Butt pack is less accessible than your ruck but its also affixed better. My question to those that do it that way is; how do you decide what to put in there and what to put in your pack?
This post is just to get people thinking of packing options/ solutions, not a "BOB pic thread."
**I have been asked by various members why I have not posted pics of my gear. First reason is time is at a premium, I also have associates that visit this forum frequently and I really don’t want them to know what I have. They don’t know my SN but would recognize certain things in my pics so it’s a risk I’m not willing to take for now. I may go and redo my pics sometime, untill then, sorry.
