As many of you pointed out previously, when traveling on business, being prepared for disaster far away from your supplies is a challenge. Food, water, shelter etc are all things that are relatively easy to plan for and take with you. Firearms, however, present an entirely unique set of challenges.

Here is my plan for How to Fly with Firearms on my next business trip.

Is there anything I should "tweak"? Thanks for the feedback.

The case you are using is pretty bulky in your checked luggage. There are other options for smaller cases that will take up less room and offer a secure, lockable case for your firearm. For pistols, I use a "gunvault" (search of Amazon for them) and for rifles, I use a Pelican 1490 with the rifle broken down inside.
