Those who think McCain is Bush -- and those who hate Bush -- have already sided long ago with Obama, and that's okay. But there isn't much point in bashing Bush much more. He is going to be gone, the bashing won't change any more minds against Bush or away from McCain... it only points out, to me, the increasing desperate nature of the failing Obama campaign and the emotionalism of his supporters. (Of course, when McCain win the Bush Basher will instantly become McCain Mashers and we will hear the same accusations for another eight years. Some things don't change.)

When a campaign runs an ad saying the other guy doesn't use email, that has gotten to the point of petty ridiculousness (and when one considers McCain can't type because of war wounds it becomes shallow.) The ad, of course, was to appeal to kids, but they ain't the majority of voters. Us old farts are, and not using email just might be a positive.

But today the desperation, especially in the media who wants Obama to win -- a good thing since journalism is the most despised profession in the US -- ran an article on how the man who designed Palin's eye glasses is for Obama.

Now, setting aside whether one is for McCain or Obama, what is the news value in that article? Maybe Obama's tailor is for McCain? What ^%$#@ difference does that make? Well, the answer is rather obvious. Any story the media can run against McCain is acceptable. When I worked in a newsroom, a journalist who turned in such a vapid bias story would be told do it again and you are fired. But that was yesterday. Today the media is agenda driven, not fact driven.

Hey, I know ... let's ask the suppliers of toilet paper for each candidate which candidate they back. Surely the opinion of a toilet paper pusher is as valid as an eyeglass wiper. .. or is it eyeglass pusher and toilet paper wiper?

after all who wouldn't want another 4-8 years of what Bush brought us.
I don't mind the last eight years at all, except for when the Democrats took over Congress. I bought a house, made a pile of money...good years they were...

You are fine with the deficit then?
It seems you are saying everything bad is now the fault of the Democratic congress.

No great problem with deficit spending, most administrations republican and democrat do it. I am saying things will get considerably worse if Obama gets elected because we will then have a socialist for a president, a metrosexual whimp as the Senate Majority leader and rabid feminist as speaker of the house. That should just about let the rest of the world run over us. I think of Obama is elected he will be the last US president, and I don't say that lightly or emotionally.

Bush's unpopularity is mostly a result of Iraq, which most Americans now believe was a colossal mistake. But his problems go far beyond Iraq. His administration has been dogged by one massive scandal after the other, from the Katrina debacle, to Bush's approval of illegal wiretapping and torture, to his unparalleled use of "signing statements" to disobey laws he disagrees with, to the outrageous Gonzales and U.S. attorneys affair.

you would think most people who are against big govt would be against the patriot act and wiretapping.

9/11 was not a product of the Bush administration this happened right as he entered office. It was 8 years of the Clinton administration weakening our military, defenses and intelligence agencies that made it possible for the terrorist to carry out their plot. Bush has managed to keep us safe for 8 years since 9/11 and yes it has cost us to re-strengthen military and fight terrorist outside of the USA. But if Obama wins you can expect the fight to come back to us here at home. One day after the USA is no more due to a majority who can do nothing but complain all of you crying, wimps who know nothing of real sacrifice will all be the first to meet your end. As you do you’ll look back and wish for 8 more years of George Bush!

Did the invasion of Iraq protect us from terrorist attacks in the US?

WoW! my last post got deleted and I didnt get a infraction for anything. I guess it was "that good"

Anyway. You should read george tenets book. "FX U probly dont know who that is" It will help shed a little light on how serious the terrorist really are. There are terrorist attacks foiled on a daily basis around the world. Any of those people we kill......is good. Its that simple. Wars have been going on since the birth of man. Evil trys to kill good and back and forth it goes. You must fight back. If you dont you will become a slave. FX if you want to be a slave just move to china or russia, korea oh I forgot, POST OBAMA AMERICA will also suffice.

Only a Idiot believes a president can do 1/4 of what is claimed Bush did... they Simply don't have that Power.

Illegal Wars, Eroding of the Constitution, Patriot act etc, CONGRESS passed these at Bush's urging, but it took CONGRESS, and LOTS of Dems. The Bush presidency was doomed from the start, Klintoon signed NAFTA and had agreements with the Big Biz's to Not move out of the US till the next pres took office.. Then 9-11 etc. Even if he was not a fool, he was destined to Fail.

McLame is Not much better, but compared to Obama, and being our Only other choice, he's a No Brainer. Obama is a Socialist Puppet and his handlers have a agenda that if elected we will Never recover from. With a Dem controlled Congress, AND pres... were Screwed. Gun control is a Huge issue to me, it's THE most important Right we have Bar None. It's the only insurance we have against ALL rights being taken away. The Obama Bin Biden ticket is The most Anti Gun ever.. We simply will Not allow it to happen. End of story. McLame by a landslide.
