I saw a report on the news chammel the same night I saw this thread (creepy). Anyways, the report said the police were following some leads and had some suspects. Has anyone heard if they have brought anyone in or not?
I have a friend that is now a registered sex offender. When he was 17, he had consintual (SP) sex with his 16yr old girlfriend. The parents caught them, pressed charges and he was sent to prison for 3yrs as an adult. SHE CONSENTED, hell she was the one that initiated it. I was sitting in the court room when she admitted that under oath. He got out after 6 months for good behavior, but now has to register where ever he moves to for the rest of his life. Where I live, males must be 16yrs of age to give consent and females must be 17yrs of age. I've been best friends with this guy since 5th grade, we're both now 28. I know this guy, he is closer to me than my own brother, he would never hurt anyone that didn't attack him first and he would never rape a girl. He got a bad deal.
My, point is; there are many people put on the Sex offenders list for many reasons like this, so be careful before you judge to harshly. On that note, if this guy did infact molest a child or rape a lady, I would be the first to say this SOB got exactly what he deserved.
