We didnt have any robins this year and one blue jay...havent seen really anything in number except chickadees and starlings. I wonder if it is tied into the bees dying off. Which really is a bigger threat. No bees no food unless you plan on hand pollinating.

My area has lots of birds of all varieties. But thanks for the heads up. I will keep an eye out for any changes.

Do you live in an area where there are chemical plants????????????Just asking.

I read somewhere that the Chemical plants near Houston( about 70 miles south of me) opened valves releasing stored posion gasses during Katrina, Bypassing costly E.P.A disposal fees. I have also seen a rise in allergies and respirtory problems in our area.
