Until a circuit court of appeal with jurisdiction over your location or the SCOTUS rules that way, I wouldn't hang much hope on it.
Even subject matter aside, wondering if a military court sets precedence for civilian courts?

It can be cited as supporting an argument, but its not binding authority (only persuasive authority) on a court not under the court that issued the ruling. It's hard enough to get a judge to follow binding authority, much less persuasive authority. I certainly wouldn't want my freedom hanging on that case if I had a charge pending in a civilian court.
