Assuming you might at some point need to move Au-Pie,
seems like this would be a good idea to use that modern invention "the wheel" to move with a bug-out load that is more than you would want to carry. I think you could put a couple big bags of gear on this and still move well through terrain. I just grabbed a likely couple of examples to show. Add a couple pieces of plywood zip tied to the tubes, add some straps to hold a couple back pack bags and a case of MREs and an ammo can, a rifle scabbard, and a tire pump with tire repair kit and you are good to go.
