I am new here and have been reading a bunch of old post. From what I have read yes. non food grade buckets contain a chemical that can a. rust the bags. or b. the bags are not proven to stop the chemicals.

Thats just what I have taken from old posts

I am new to storage too. I was wondering If the ziplock type mylar bags are OK, or you need to use a vacuum sealer or atleast a heat seam sealer.
