I sure wouldn't. The chemicals in the plastic will leach and the chlorine won't do you any good against them. I think a water purifier would be best in this situation.
Ok, so i have looked on numerous sites and did the search button but could never find this answer that I am looking for
Is water in a plastic water bottle left in a car in TX summer for months OK to drink after putting a chlorine dioxide water purification tablet?
So of the plastic bottles leach out some of the chemicals it's mde from, read that some whereSo, bottled water sealed from the factory will go bad?![]()
Yep if it's aluminum or stainless steel or they make steel cans that are treated inside to store water for years. So water in a metal bottle in a glove compartment should be fine for a long time?
This is highly suspect hypothesis. If there were/are any relevant scientific studies, then we would have a basis to begin to analyze the veracity of this ...idea.Here's one link that tells you about the dangers of bottled water in a hot car or being frozen....

Snopes says its false, but I still wont take the chance. they have been wrong before!
Its not the hot water that causes cancer. It is the toxins in the plastic bottle that are released when the water heats up. The toxins cause the cancer. Hell, plenty of people drink hot water, (even i do when trying to lose weight. add some lemon juice!) but drink hot water from a cup, not a plastic bottle!:thumb:This is highly suspect hypothesis. If there were/are any relevant scientific studies, then we would have a basis to begin to analyze the veracity of such a wild statement.
People drink hot water from a car, from time to time and get cancer?
People smoke cigarettes obsessively and might get cancer...after 20+ years mostly.
Perhaps its not the safest thing, but its so unlikely that anyone could get breast cancer from this type of situation! Plus there are way too many variables to isolate "hot water" + plastic = "breast cancer"Hell I've smoked out of plastic several times *bad idea*
