I can't remember what the acronym is but ultimately its not important you know what i meant.

So a few minutes ago I saw these "sheds" on a blog, inhabit, and the survival side of my brain started rolling. Oh how nice would it be to something like this tucked away at the edge of your/some property somewhere? It'd be awesome that's how nice! At least that's my opinion!
So these guys at this site, architectural firm are charging at the upper end almost 50k for one of the big sheds. Well forget that phfff. Anyone with knowledge of laying a small to medium sized footing and framing and minor carpentry skills could so make one of these. And for our survival purposes we don't need the fancy-pants look either, painted plywood siding and shingles!
I mean really who hasn't built a small structure before, at least I assume at some point growing up most males if not females too have been involved in minor construction.
Best I can tell from the little blue prints on their website the "Large Shed" is 13x24 feet and 19 feet high. Really I believe all you'd have to do is pick up a shed plan book from Lowe's and then pick out your structure and make modifications to make it comfortable for inhabitable. You could insulate the shed with shredded newspaper in the walls and some fiberglass for the ceiling parts, and then for the floor buy that 2 part resin foam stuff that you mix and it expands you know. I mean I understand that its not the awesome itchy pink panther special but it'd do pretty good trick for the cold parts of the year. Plus replace whatever it is in that picture with a small wood burning stove or even fireplace and that place would be toasty!
For water in your shed rain barrels, I've still really not figured out cooking yet but I suppose you could just drag out there a propane tank or you the wood burning stove. Electricity could either be non existent or solar powered with a battery system(expensive but not impossible). Then that way you could have low volt and low wattage LED lighting and maybe a small frig or something.
My plan isn't prefect but still its not impossible either, nor is it 50k. You could probably get away with do this all for maybe 7k, oh i'd wanna do all this my self!! that always saves too
