Where do you all purchase your first aid supplies. I am interested in individual packets of ointment, pain killers, and bandages but dont want to spend too much money and end up with items I might have to throw away in a year.

It depends on your philosophy.

If you think TSHTF in the next week, suck it up and blow a paycheck at CVS and load up on a two year supply on everything.

If not, clip coupons in your sunday paper and work on your list.

Nobody's giving deals on complete packages of anything.

Any place you buy bandaids... First buy a DECENT firstaid kit, then add to it since none come with what they really need. There is no reason to throw anything away, Just check it once or twice a year to see whats getting close, buy replacemnts and use whats being replaced. Individual packets of ointment have long shelf lifes and asprin and the like that have shorter lives you can easily use up before they go out of date.
