1300 bucks is a very fair price for a M4. Depending on the setup, prices vary.

The Benelli M4 is THE semi-auto I would trust in a life or death situation.

You get what you pay for.

For me the Benelli M4 is the most reliable semi-auto shotgun, but this is my personal opinion and perhaps personal preference. I prefer the tubular magazine, although the SPAS15 is also fun to shoot.

And please, don't start comparing Saiga or Mossberg semi-autos with the Benelli.

Ditto what he said.

Wald, from now on instead of me posting the m4... just add my name to anything you put up. I think our views are identical.

the M4 Benelli is in a class all its own and nothing else comes close. I'd love to own a Saiga for fun days at the range... but if I had my family to protect the M4 is the best tool I can think of in semi-autos. And since the price of Saigas is so close... why by a Volkswagon Bug when you can get a Lamborghini for the same price?
