I had posted this in another section but it belongs here, so...

Skin and clean a young ****. Cut into fist size pieces and boil in water until the meat falls from the bone. De-bone and place the meat into a baking dish with a large diced onion mixed in. Cover with a bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes covered with foil.
You could very easily do this in a dutch over in camp also.
If you have never had **** before you are in for a surprise.

Thank you Highpower! I have never had **** before, but they live all around me. So do dear, squirrels and turkeys. Never have had a need before for this kind of meat, but this may come in handy to know in the near future.

I have had barbque **** before and it is good. I did want to ask about how to prep it. I was always told to be sure to remove all fat because it ruins the flavor of the raccoon meat. Is this true with bbq ****?

Don't forget to remove the glands from the front legs and back. Also trim as much fat as you can. Doing both of those things make all the difference in the world.
