I’m looking for a battery-less “Reflex” sight with either 0 or 1x magnification (preferably zero magnification) that I can mount at 45deg to the scope on my semi .308. My scope is Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10 power (no batteries) and I want something in case I need to switch to close in work. Something that I can shoot with both eyes open and fast. The only one that I have found that fits the bill is the Trijicon Reflex 1x24:
http://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product2.php?id=Reflex&mid=1x24

I’ll probably never have to go to it and the Trijicon is not cheap (I have plenty of $$$ into the Trijicon scope already) and the Reflex is a bit big at 24mm.

I’m looking for inexpensive, small, preferably zero magnification and battery-less.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

1x is zero power. One good model is the Russian PK-AS-W. It's a red dot/black dot collimating reflex sight. Here's a link to it. Freedom Optics might also sell it. I know that Kalinka Optics has it too, but that place just sucks. It'll be a lot less expensive than the Trijicon.

That is too funny, I figured that out after I posted. The only sights I have are EoTech’s and I have always thought of them as “zero”. Looks like the ol brain needed a little re-calibration.:D:
