i have been in search of a good basha and hammock for quite some time now but always get over welmed by the choices. Any have experience with this type of shealter?

Hammock I'm not sure on, but as far as a basha check with a local army surplus store. Nothing fancy needed in the cover department. A good hammock is a different thing. So many uncomfortable ones out, and too many choices. I use a sleeping bag and pad myself. Best thing on a hammock for a guess, is to try a shop that sells lawn furniture. Try each out to see how you like them.

I think i've narrowed it down now, i still need to get a good bag and pad...this crap is soo expinsive! but hey, i gotta sleep.

I brought a NZ Army basha from my local army surplus store for 30 dollars.Try there or ebay maybe if you don't want to spend much

there is only one surplus store here, and its rediculosly expinsive. I'll hve to order from the internet, i'd like to keep the cost under 50 for both. Its for my bob so it needs to be small and light.
