Awesome survival knife!!!!!

I think their great and will have one for a spear. I have an ash bo waiting for it.

They definitely make it look more like a combat knife then a survival knife in the video.

Gets super sharp and is a great slicer. Great in the kitchen, too.

You can't beat the crap out of it. I wish they made one 3/16 inch thick.

I got one of those years ago. The handle is made for mounting on a stick, so the handle is not comfortable at all for extended use. It's one piece of steel. the handle is basically wrapped around a tapered mold. Sheath is cheaply made and not designed for belt wear. It lives on the wife's potting bench for digging in dirt and opening soil bags. So far it hasn't rusted though.

Much better knives out there for the price. This really is just a spear point.

Hmm if it holds an edge well I might just buy one of these

They're good knives but they aren't super strong knives but they were designed to be given to your trackers, camp men etc. while on safari, as presents...They aren't gimmicks, they work and work well--you just have to sharpen them quite a bit, quite often but an edge is easy to put on...

The spear isn't very aerodynamic and you really should taper the shaft to fit the hilt properly--like they did on their Boar Spear...

SOG has one called Fusion Spirit, 4.25" blade, 10.65" OAL, designed to take a standard broom handle and MSRP $50 - Street $38...Much better design, throws a lot easier and is really wicked looking...

Wow, that Fusion Spirit is threaded and actually screws on to a broom or paint stick handle.

Have one, makes a great spear, and handles hollow for things, filed some serrations in it. love it
