I CHALLENGE everyone on this board to send a letter to your Rep. and to the future Prez asking for a bail - out.

I will be writing my letter tomorrow.

Passed the House.

So far, seems like it doesn't have the support needed to pass the Senate.
Right. I would urge everyone to flood your senators with email and phone calls. My senators are dead set against it.

Well My two senators Shelby and Sessions are against it. MY Rep. Jo Turd Bonner probably voted for it. He voted for the last bailouts. He says he knows better than me and that I let my emotions get in the way.

They say that filing reconstructive bankruptcy would hurt sales but if I was planing to buy a car, now I wouldn't do it out of protest.

the house sold us out AGAIN...I don't see why it's having trouble in the senate, they're just as quick to sell out the American people.
Oh no ... they're even quicker.

Yah, lets bail out the banks who have no tangible product and only screw us more and ore every day, but screw the people who make our cars, granted it is horribly run. But the banks, yeh that was okay!

We can give the bank hundreds of billions with not strings but not the auto workers 15 with lots of strings???????That makes sense.

The banks don't screw you. You screw yourself when you walk into one and sign papers. If everyone would take responsibility and stay away from them they would have no power over anyone.

so that means the unemployment roles need to rise by 237.

hopefully the senators who still believe in the constitution will keep their spinal calcium,
at least 41 of them.

included in bill was a pay raise for federal judges.

Oh, I agree completely. I have about 50 bucks in the bank. My money goes into physical assets immediately. Home and tools!

I really do not know what my opinion is on this... We bailed out banks 700 billion. Now these companies are actually USA companies, and it is a loan. I think the management made some bad call on the direction of the company in the past so I think they should pay, but to let them go down and workers would really impact the families and the economy.

So to you, it doesn't matter what the constitution says or if the country is going socialist? It's a hard pill to swallow but people have to get back to financial responsibility. Things like saving 15% of your paycheck. Not in a bank either.
