Do any of you have any useful opinions on the Kershaw Outcast knife for inclusion in bug-out kit (for travelling through rural and/or wilderness areas to a retreat)?
It's got a 10" D2 bolo-style blade...I am considering this in lieu of a machete or kukri, which are probably a bit of overkill (no pun intended) for the areas I'd be traversing.
