Hi everyone.
I joined here after looking up a lot of stuff for survivalists. I'm doing this as a just in case, but I'd been talking to my brother. I live very close to our nation's capitol, and I love where I live, but he recently bought farm land and thinks it would be smart to prepare for the worst in the event of war. So, I'm just looking around for things to fortify in the event something happens. I'm interested in seeing what people have to discuss when it comes to surviving things like a war, or just some kind of natural disaster, since I'm prepared for neither. I live with my mother as well, and I have some dogs, and my mother is paralyzed, so I'm especially keen to make sure that I'm able to handle dealing with everything and riding out anything that might come our way. I'm glad to be part of the community, and I'm looking forward to learning. Please forgive me in advance if I ask questions that seem foolish- until last night, I never even thought about such things. But my brother is always right, and I tend to follow his lead.
