I am fmajor007 and am posting up to introduce myself.
Came here after reading reviews on edged things and a *long-term* interest in things related to living aka surviving aka survival - like 25yrs of interest.
So yea, i tend to be long-winded, but rarely malicious. I am former military (think Ft. Bragg - about 9yrs total - Active then Guard) when Reagan was Pres. and former LE as well. Lotsa formers there... Have taught backpacking/camping/survival stuff/martial arts/BRM. Got tired of most of these as vocational pursuits, but can contribute via web.
I am firstly Christian and view life through that lens, but don't try to *force* my faith on others. Hopeful - yes, forceful - no.
I am from the US (NLP Michigan), but currently live in SE Europe.
