Hi I'm from Alaska and have become very interested in survival the past two years. I work as a firefighter / paramedic. I have been a big climber and skiier all my life. I guided the brooks range in arctic alaska for 5 years. I always viewed survival as having a kit or extra supplies and a plan. I realized that there is so much more to it. So I took a class at the Tracker school and have been studying ever since. I am really into the tracking aspect now and primitive skills. I like the idea of not needing any thing to live comfortably in the wilderness indefinitely.
It is my new fascination, hobby, focus and knowledge set. Good thing too, since the world as we know it is changing and in ways we probably don't even know.
