I know, old thread but because I'm on chrome and have experience, plus didn't want to start a new thread on an old topic here goes, but Adblock has blocked over 300 elements in 10 minutes, on the What did you prep? page. And yes, I did have success in blocking until this week, when on chrome, it gets through. However, I'm switching browsers for that very reason. Every time I allow google adsense through, I get a new virus.

However, there is a chance that they are getting through also because your anti-virus software isn't working as well. Malwarebytes worked to help Adblock block unwanted elements, but when that subscription expired, then the 1 or 2 ads got through. However, 105 ads or blocked elements while writing this.

 

I simply don't click on any ads on any website: ever. If I see something interesting, I make a note and research it on another laptop. Don't feed the beast and it will stop (hopefully) coming around for a snack.

 

I'm not clicking on the ads. Another website lost google's Adsense due to violating their terms because some people were clicking on the ads and then not buying. I refuse to pay google anything after that scam by google! So far, vivaldi browser blocks all ads.
