Hi,
I was wondering who else on here was a true Libertarian.

-I believe that government should be minimal and that they should stay out of people's lives.
A good start would be a federal gov. that functions much like Montana's state gov., where the legislative branch (senators and house reps.) meet every second year for 90 days to review laws and maybe change some things if needed.
The other two branches of the gov. (executive and judiciary) are government lite, and are entirely based on the U.S. and Montana Constitution.

-I believe that the fruit of your labor should belong to you in its entirety and that you shouldn't have to support those who don't feel like working.

-I believe that people should not have to pay taxes for things that they don't use/need?
If you need public schooling, pay public schooling taxes, if you need to drive on public roads, pay such fees or taxes in association with your plate and insurance fees, if you need access to the electrical grid and the sewer system pay property taxes, etc.
Basically a user-payer system.

-I believe that the gov. has no business to license people's activities and hobbies.
**********************************************************************************************
I believe many other things along the same lines. The bottom line is that I believe government should be but a whisper in our lives and that we should trust people to shape their own destinies.
