Frugal Squirlls just killed the Paitriot fiction section on his site.

This morning we lost a huge forum and source for great fiction authors. His site is now the worse for this move.
My membership will be one of thousands he loses.
I hope some of these authors will join us and teach us through great fiction the many lessons of preparedness.
Kev, please bring them here into this great and open minded community so that we can all bennefit from their work.

Total guess - but I noticed that someone asked a question a couple days ago about copyright retention for stories posted to the PF forum.

The moderator gave a short and sharp answer.

The questioner then gave a sharp response to the moderator.

That probably irked the moderator.

In any event, the PF stories were my favorite part of the board and always gave me something to think about. Some were totally unrealistic and some could be taken from tomorrow's newspaper headline, but you could learn something from each story.

I also will miss the writers section on FS. I learned a lot of info in some of those stories. Some of the authers were good some not so great but all were better than my writing.

I hope I can find were the authors will be posting their stories as I have several that were in work but not completed.

Frugal is a kook. I was banned permanently from the site because my posts weren't good enough in his view. Apparently a discussion about how to refurbish old cast iron dutch ovens and other utensils was what pushed him over the edge with me. His response to my query about why I was banned was that my posts contributed nothing to HIS forum aand he would do as he liked.
Fine. His perogative. I'm just not going to weep as he lobotomizes his forum.
This site has better fiction than Frugals anyway. JDY is here. The Clark stories are a nice new addition to SB. The stories are less cookie cutter types than MOST on FS. Just plain better fiction (if not as much) HERE.

I hope we can invite her here. She has writen some great stories. She would be an asset to this group immediatly. She is also a great cook and a valuable poster in general with very diverse knowledge.

We need to beg scratchline to post more of his stories here.
Sir,You have a bunch of great stories we would all enjoy. Scratchline you are in good company here. Please post more of your stories and help build the fiction section of a great group of like minded folks.

We need to bring these Authors here!

This is a much better site than the others listed. If you have any relationship with these authors please invite them to join us. I believe this site has much more to offer them and Kev is a much wiser owner/administrater than the competition.

Does anyone know how to contact Paradox and see if she'll be posting somewhere else? I can't send another email until tomorrow and her account has been suspended, so I probably won't be able to send one then.

It is his forum. But does he think he built it himself?
Thousand of members and posters contribute to his site. Am I the only guy who askes how about us?
Folks, this is a big deal to me.

He will hang on but this foolish move will just bite him in the hind end.

Maybe a bite will be good, I don't know.


All I can ask is for you to invite your friends to check out this site. This forum invites debate and seems to
keep some folks around just to bring us out to debate issues.

These same posters would be banned from Frugal Squirles before their posts were read.
We are better than petty BS.
