Not sure if this is a price mistake or a temporary promo, but I found over 100 free Kindle books by Cornell University Press.

If the link doesn't work for you, just click on Advanced Search, type in Cornell University Press for the publisher, and then sort by price.

The free ones were on page 1-7, and near the bottom of page 7 is where the free ones ended and paid ones began, at least when I viewed it.

These are mostly academic works, many about history and literature.

These are published by Berghahn Books. Not sure how many are free, so far the first page all is. They seem to be about Jews in WWII and Germany.

Update: The first 33 books were free.

I found a few others, too.

What I did was open up one of these free books, and scroll to the bottom of the page where it lists what others who bought this book also bought, and it lists other free books. Open up those, and if it's a different publisher, put that in the Advanced Search and sort by price.
