Hey, I don't know how the prices for hand chain saws compare to his, but American Science and Surplus has one for $10 right now. I've had good experience with their stuff before, but as a surplus store, YMMV.

I love hand chainsaws. They work so much better than those freaky wire saws. I can't say I have had experience with this particular brand though. I have tried pocket chainsaw and Sabre cut. Both work exrtremely well. This is half the price. But again cant attest to the quality. The last thing you need is for something to fail when you need it.

I have one and love it. Good buy for $10 bucks. I think mine was made by winchester.
