does anyone here plant forage , or mast crops (Oaks etc) or build brush piles to provide game with food and habitat so as to draw game to your area or improve their size and breeding in anticipation of one day needing close convenient and productive hunting if the Stone Hits the Fishbowl

My wife is interested in canning. I bought her a book to get started, but it only contains information on canning vegetables. Can anyone offer advice or information on canning (meat) beef or wild game. Squirrel, fish, deer, rabbit, frog, etc....any and all meat. Also what would be the shelf life...
