vacuum seal

    i have my seeds in mylar bags in the freezer.......was wondering if i should also vacuum seal them? would like to hear other peoples methods?

    I've seen the 'emergency water" rations being sold, but could you make your own with ice cubes and a vacuum sealer? Any ideas on shelf life?
