  1. New Member Introduction
Can anyone tell me any info on this old bayonet? I have found this style but none of the markings I have on mine make any sense to me. And I can’t find any resource that provides info about them. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated !!

I have a Ka-Bar knife with the Kydex sheath, 7" blade. I picked up a Ka-Bar MOLLE adapter and tested it out over the weekend, wearing it on my USGI ALICE LBE while doing yard work. The adapter works as advertised, but the knife rides higher than I would like. In use, drawing it and placing it...

I bought an uncoated Esee 4 awhile back. On the back of the Molle sheath there is a velcro flap at the top. Anybody know what this is for? I am stumped

Here is a video I filmed on how to make a kydex sheath. I hope you like it and let me know if you have any questions

Maybe I'm just being a dork but I can't seem to find a sheath that will fit my Ka-Bar BK3. The one that came with it is terrible. The bottom part is fine but the top part is some kind of nylon with a little button snap. The worst part is that the nylon strap doesn't even fit around the handle...

I will be saving up to buy two more knives to add to the collection (kinda starting it). I'm trying to narrow it down to ESEE 5 or 6, KA-BAR USMC, Parry Blade, and the OKC Rat 5. I will eventually narrow it down to the two I will buy, but I am curious as to what your thoughts are on which sheath...

I've had this posted in the blades section, but think it's definitely appropriate here. I took my old, worn & well worked Lowe's Kobalt Hatchet ($14) and used it to practice my restoration skills (in case I come across a nice vintage piece in the future). I sanded, stripped and cleaned...

I was wondering if anyone carries there fixed blade concealed, such as shoulder rig or inside pant sheath. I have a bencmade nimravus, its light and fairly slim. Just looking for a good carry option. Pics and links appreciated. Thanks!:thumb:

I just made a kydex sheath for a knife I have been working on. The knife is a cheap Chinese knife made of stainless that I refinished, polished up and added new micarta handles to. Just fooling around mostly, although I have really fallen in love with the shape of it. Here's my problem. The...

Has anyone modified the sheath so it can hold more things like flint and steel? I'm new to carbon steel. How do I take care of the blade?

Before reading Six Ways In & Twelve Ways Out, and before some real-world application, I was all about my SOG SEAL Pup. I was sure it was all I needed for camping/survival. After reading about George Jasper's outlook on blades, as well as practicing skills outlined in the manual such as shelter...

A year or so ago my 13 year old son surprised me by saving up and getting me a good knife. It means the world to me because he purchased it for me. The only drawback to the knife is the Ballistic Nylon sheath. I have been looking for makers but they tend to ask for $30-$50. Is there anyone who...
