As some of you may know my wife and I are moving to the farm. Part of that move is getting septic and water put down.
The 1,000 gallon septic tank and 100 feet of gravel-less field line was delivered today.

I have been reading but have not ran across anything dealing with sewage management. Can anyone point to some links or expound on this subject? We could go back to the old outhouse in the country, but what about all the city folks? :)
We all know that one can flush their toilet by pouring water into it, but if you are connected to a "city" sewer line, how do you think it will keep working? I figure the water will be shut off before the sewers quit working, but, I don't know. just something else to worry about!
