  1. Knives, Swords & Axes
So I am deciding on a new 9" knife to add to my collection. I do carry my knives in various configurations depending on the type of outing and it's duration, etc. I am looking at the Cold Steel Trailmaster, the Ontario RD-9 and the Ontario RBS-9. I understand that there is a lot of weight...
  2. Knives, Swords & Axes
I just though I'd share a photo. I wish I'd seen a photo like this when I was initially buying the first one (Laredo Bowie). Although I like the Laredo, it's the one I've yet to use at all and probably never will and that's only because I find the trailmaster and the recon scout 110% capable...
  3. Knives, Swords & Axes
Hey all, I'm currently debating between these two knives, and would value the scrutiny of my fellow board members. Would like to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly of each. I'd be using it as an outdoors camping/hiking/wilderness knife. The recon scout would be the SK-5 one. TIA

  6. Knives, Swords & Axes These are the Two knives. I don't plan to cut any trees down with it, i just want a good hunting/tactical knife. Which one do you think is a better knife? I can find a recon scout for $56 at...
  7. Knives, Swords & Axes
It's little heavy but keeps them together. :thumb: I don't believe I'd carry them in the wilderness this way. Maybe just around camp. Lots of extra 550 cord. Haven't really messed with the Becker much. It's kind of small for my hands, but it is a neck knife. The Recon is tuuuuuuff!:thumb:
  8. Knives, Swords & Axes
I am more of a hunter type and the view point that a tactical fighter is a survival knife seem to be off tract to me. My Buck 110 folder is more a survival knife than some in my opinion and personally I have a Cammillas Pilot Survival knife in my BOB along with Cold Steel Bushman. I have sort...
  9. Knives, Swords & Axes
anyone know anything about the Becker BK7 Combat/Utility Knife The BK&T COMBAT/UTILITY 7 has been designed specifically for soldiers and adventurers requiring a sturdy but lightweight combat knife that can stand up to hard use. The inspiration for the COMBAT/UTILITY 7 is the timeless MK-2...
