OK folks I am splitting off of Shawn's winter garden thread. Sort of going the same route (great imspiration Shawn) but I am probably gonna be needing a lot more help. :( (Never been good at gardening) But like Kev has preached about, this IS something you need to learn so here I go.
I have been very busy lately. Between prepping hunting areas(bushhogging overgrowth from the very wet year), and fishing, I've just now found some time to take down the Spring garden and start the Fall one.
I remove all the old plants, except the 4 eggplants that are still producing.
My step son and I planted a row of radishes about 20 feet long - this was 6 weeks ago. Well my step son pulled some of them up today and here are the pictures. This is just about two feet of a row 20 feet long. So what ever you see in the pictures, X's that by 8 is still in the ground...
