As you could tell by the topic name, this is related to the AR piston systems that have been developed by multiple companies over the recent years. I want to hear what people have to say about them, both for and against them. Being new to the forum, I'm not sure how any true prepper could be...

I own a piston drive, a fairly good one. A Stag 8L, it is a $1300 rifle and performs like one. It shoots one ragged hole.
It is however no more accurate than the $650 rifles I built, and while I have to clean the bolt slightly less often...
