Let's talk about snacks for a multi-day camping or backpacking trip. One of the things I have asked myself over the decades are snacks for a backpacking or camping trip. For discussion let's leave day hikes out of the equation. When meal planning I go for three main meals, such as three...

Maybe America is getting ready for this covid19 after all. A week ago I ordered a couple big boxes from Mountainhouse just to top off the freeze dried food. Mountain House Beef Stew is probably one of the better rounded meals from Mountain House. The beef, peas and carrots were all consistent with each other. The gravy had plenty of flavor. There was nothing bland or overbearing about the beef stew. Overall, this is going to be added to my preps.

Review of the Mountain House Breakfast Skillet. Probably the worst mountain house meal I have tried so far. Very bland with an overpowering potato taste.
