So I'm going up to the High Sierra mountains in California for the trout season opener April 24th. My father-in-law is taking me ice fishing to Lake Sabrina and other locations, I've never tried ice fishing before, any advice on what kind of bait and hooks/setup to use? I bought one of those...

So how many on here ice fish? What types of fish do you catch? Starts here on Jan. 1st, my son and I can't wait.
