I ran across this NYT article that places part of the blame for mass shootings on credit cards used to purchase firearms used to commit mass shootings.

They are pushing banks to flag large gun purchases. At this point, the banks are resisting.
This goes against everything I've heard over the past few years.

Gun sales are plunging......and there's ammo back on the shelves.
I had to do a double take when I read this. Not exactly what I am picking up from post in this forum.

Well it looks like obama might just be voted gun dealer of the year again. And thats not even including all the fast and furious guns that were sent that were not even reported.

Given the downturn in the economy, the precieved threat of additional gun legislation, and the booming increase in demand last year... I know some people made some $$$$$$ profits on some firearm sales... either personal transfers or FFL businesses.
