I need some good, tried and true advice on durable adjustable headlamps and I hope you kind folks can help me with this. I have tried the cheaper Coast brand ones, window shopped the petzls, and tried the Duracell/ cyclops brand ones from wherever and I exhausted trying to wade through...
Thorfire asked if I would review the Thorfire TK01 Flashlight. This is a keychain sized flashlight that uses a single AAA battery.
The Thorfire TK01 has a single setting of 85 lumens, which is going to be bright enough to change a car tire at night, look under the hood, use around a camp...
This is a review of the JETBeam KO-01 flashlight. This is a hefty feeling light that uses a single 18650 battery.
First impressions were good.
Turbo 1 - 1,080
Turbo 2 - 960
High - 240
Mid - 75
Low - 1
Double click the on/off switch and it will activate the strobe. While in...
Review of the Sofirn SF14 flashlight.
The only real issue I found with the flashlight was it flickered with AA batteries. The flicker was not that bad, but the company is addressing the issue with an upgraded model of the flashlight. When using the 14500 battery, the light did not flicker.
Short review of the Litesam ED08 flashlight.
The Litesam ED08 can use either a single 14500 or a single AA battery.
700 lumens with 14500 battery.
Lumens - 700, 100, 30
I feel the strobe and SOS feature are not really needed in a light...
The Olight i1R EOS keychain flashlight is an ideal everyday carry flashlight - at least to me anyway.
What I liked about the Olight i1R EOS flashlight:
Simple on / off with two brightness settings
Weighs less than 1/2 ounce
What I did not like about the Olight i1R EOS...
Olight contacted me through YouTube and asked if I would like to do a review on one of their lights, of course I said yes. So they sent me the Olight M2R Warrior Flashlight.
Overall, I liked this design and brightness settings. However, I wish the on/off button behind the bezel was easier to...
ThorFire sent me a ThorFire camping lantern flashlight to give away in a contest.
In addition, I am adding some goodies from my personal gear stockpile.

The Thrunite TC12 is unique in that it has a built in battery charger. Plug in a micro-USB cable to charge the flashlight. While charging the brightness selector button flashes.
Being USB rechargeable makes this is an excellent truck, car or nightstand flashlight design. Keep the Thrunite...
Review of the Thurnite Archer 1A V3 flashlight. Awhile back I did a review of the ThruNite TN12. The TN12 took everything I threw at it and kept working. With the Thrunite Archer I decided up up the game and add some different test.
Disclosure: The Thurnite Archer was sent to me at no cost...
A friend of mine is a hardcore flashlight hobbiest and he made this series. I wanted to share it with you all because this depth of knowledge on the topic is fantastic. He also told met that if you could have any flashlight in an apocalypse, it would be the Malkoff Turn-key HA Flashlight (MD2)...
Surefire made a name for itself by manufacturing high quality products, and at an affordable price. The Surefire 6PX Pro is no exception.
Made in USA – Yes
Dual output – Yes, 200/15 lumens. Surefire website says there is a new 320 lumen model.
Momentary no/off – Yes
Lanyard – No
The thing about Rayovac, they have a reputation of low cost, low quality flashlights. When someone ask about a good quality flashlight, what are the first brand names mentioned? Usually its Maglight, Surefire, Fenix,,, but not Rayovac.
From what it appears, Rayovac is trying to improve that...
Preferably slim as possible. I wear shorts all the time it's hot down here, and my price range is $20-30.
I've tried those $5 LED lights in the store they suck they always shut off and flicker when you smack it.
I hate those flashlights like sure fire that use proprietary batteries that are...
How many Lumens is enough in a flashlight? Or is it MORE than just Lumens?
I've just had run of the mill flashlights, low brightness, not very bright for the most part. I bought a Coast PX20 from Lowe's a few days ago. It's rated at 125 Lumens and was around $25 bucks. It kicks my regular mini...
hello I work for a company that makes headlamps and flashlights and i am looking to trade lights for any item that you think might fit good into my BOB. I don't have many items as i am just starting out. it will not let me upload pics send me a PM and I will send you pics of some of the lights...
So I'm interested in the Surefire E2D LED
I have the FENIX LD20 (two of them) (2 AA)
and the LD10 (1 AA)
I like the idea of having lights that take an easy to find battery.
So would you add another light that will take a different type of battery but would be a better quality flashlight.
