I'm always looking for 'creative' uses for pouches. My thinking is, sure, I could have items fit snugly inside a pouch designed to hold just those things, but why not try to use what I can to see if I can carry my gear in fewer pouches?

Putting together an H2O kit and want to use a 32oz canteen.
From what I see, the two prevalent styles I see are the Nalgene plastic canteens and
the stainless steel types with the most popular brands being Kleen, Nalgene & Guyot.

Ok...I have found a source for SS GI type canteens...however, they need someone who is a large distributor, will not sell direct small orders...here is the copy of an email and .pdf for the canteen..perhaps someone here can/will be able to become a distrubutor and then provide/sell to the group...
