Default Bug Out Bag/Survival Ruck

Advertise Here

I recently put my bug out bag together, under the guidance of Six Ways In & Twelve Ways Out and other sources.

I made a video and posted it to youtube:

I also tested the kit to see how well the contents would work in a real-world situation and posted that video to youtube:

For the bag I'm using a London Bridges Trading Co. Ranger Back Pack, filled with most of what George Jasper has outlined in his manual Six Ways In & Twelve Ways Out.

I'll be making modifications to the kit as I go, but so far I've got the basics.

I forgot to mention that there's a poncho in there, a fishing kit and about 100' of paracord.

Increase your medical kit, with lots of anti-biotic, anti-setic, and good bandages. Need good boots, and where is your gat?

considering i base my opinion on would i carry that overseas....not bad with the added suggestions already and some experience with your equipment you'll be good to go.
on a sub note that bag you are using is the same bag my medic chose to carry for a 365 days and he loved that bag and still does....he's acquired one from the army and i'm trying to get it....i think you made a wise choice in regards to load carry.

Thanks for taking the time to make the video & post.

Learn your wild edibles now... I'm not saying don't carry the book for a last minute double check, but the use multiple ways of identifying them now. Go out & find & then test eating them.

I got a smile when I saw you ALICE pack had DRMO written on it.

Looks like the company you bought it from bought some ALICE packs in bulk from the government.

I'd put in a blastmatch and lighter, maybe a torch and chem light sticks. Also duct tape and 550 paracord is a must as it will fix 90 % of the things you will have to fix.

I watched your videos earlier on youtube before I came to this sight and I have to say that your advice is straightforward and well received.

I especially liked your video about testing to ensure you can run with your BOB on. Common sense, but easy enough to forget.

I like the B.O.B. you have created. I am curious, have you ever considered making and selling them online?
