If I'm not mistaken the sealline boundary pack is like a "dry bag" with back straps? If so, its made for short portages when canoeing. If you are carring any "weight" after 5 miles your shoulders and back are going to be hurting. Once you get above 25-30 pounds you need something with a frame either internal or external.IMHO
